Jake Ferguson
Jake Ferguson (born January 18, 1999) is an American football tight end for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Wisconsin. High school career Ferguson attended Vel Phillips Memorial High School in Madison, Wisconsin. He played wide receiver and linebacker in high school. During his career he had 1,795 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns on offense and 314 tackles, five sacks and five interceptions on defense. He committed to the University of Wisconsin to play college football. College career Ferguson played at Wisconsin from 2017 to 2021. After redshirting his first year in 2017, he played in 47 games over the next four years, recording 145 receptions for 1,618 yards and 13 touchdowns. As a senior he broke Lee Evans' school record for consecutive games with a reception. The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns. Barry Alvarez
Barry Lee Alvarez (born December 30, 1946) is a former American football coach and athletic director at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He served as the head football coach at Wisconsin for 16 seasons, from 1990 to 2005, compiling a career college football record of 119–72–4. He has the longest head coaching tenure and the most wins in Wisconsin Badgers football history. Alvarez stepped down as head coach after the 2005 season, and remained as athletics director until July 1, 2021. Since retiring, Alvarez has served as interim head coach on two occasions. He coached Wisconsin in the 2013 Rose Bowl, after the departure of Bret Bielema to the University of Arkansas, and in 2015 Outback Bowl, following the departure of Gary Andersen to Oregon State University.
