Jake Carder
Jake Michael Carder (born 11 December 1995) is an Australian cricketer. He made his first-class debut for Cricket Australia XI against the West Indians during their tour of Australia in December 2015. He made his List A debut for Cricket Australia XI in the 2016–17 Matador BBQs One-Day Cup on 1 October 2016. Domestic career Carder was in the Cricket Australia XI squad for the 2017–18 JLT One-Day Cup. Batting second against South Australia, he scored his maiden List A century. He scored 102 and combined with Beau Webster for a 229-run partnership, the fourth-highest second-wicket partnership in Australia's domestic one-day history. This helped deliver Cricket Australia XI just the second victory in their history. The 2016 Matador BBQs One-Day Cup was the 47th season of the official List A domestic cricket competition in Australia. It was played over a three-week period at the start of the domestic season to separate its schedule from the Sheffield Shield season. The 2021–22 Big Bash League season or BBL, 11 was the eleventh season of the Big Bash League, the professional men's Twenty20 domestic cricket competition in Australia. The tournament was played from 5 December 2021 and finished on 28 January 2022. The Perth Scorchers defeated the defending champions Sydney Sixers by 79 runs in the final to claim their fourth title. Sydney Sixers
The Sydney Sixers are an Australian professional franchise men's cricket team, competing in Australia's domestic Twenty20 cricket competition, the Big Bash League (BBL). Along with the Sydney Thunder, the Sixers are the successors of the New South Wales Blues who played in the now-defunct KFC Twenty20 Big Bash. The Sixers play at Sydney Cricket Ground in the south-eastern area of the inner city while the Thunder play out of Sydney Showground Stadium further west. The 2021–22 Sheffield Shield season was the 120th season of the Sheffield Shield, the domestic first-class cricket competition that was played in Australia. The tournament started in September 2021 ahead of the 2021–22 Ashes series. Queensland were the defending champions.
