Jakob Anderson (born September 16, 1980) is an American fishing captain and co-owner of the fishing vessel FV ''Saga''. Since 2007, Anderson has been featured in the Discovery Channel documentary television series ''Deadliest Catch''. Career Anderson was hired as a greenhorn by Captain Sig Hansen aboard the '' Northwestern'' in 2007. Anderson made his ''Deadliest Catch'' debut in the episode ''New Beginnings'', which aired on May 15. Anderson has endured personal tragedies on ''Deadliest Catch'', including being notified that his sister, Chelsea Dawn Anderson, had unexpectedly died during the season five episode fourteen "Bitter Tears", and later learning that his father, Keith Anderson, went missing and presumed dead after his truck was found abandoned in rural Washington during season six, episode eleven "Blown Off Course". Darion "Jake" Anderson (born April 8, 1987) is an American professional basketball player for the Orangeville A's of the National Basketball League of Canada (NBL). He played college basketball for Northern Illinois and Iowa State. High school career Anderson went to Carver Military Academy where he averaged a Chicago Public League-best 32 points, seven assists and six rebounds for the Challengers as a senior. College career Anderson began his NCAA career at Northern Illinois, where he was the 2007–08 Mid-American Conference Freshman of the Year. A three-year starter at NIU, Anderson averaged 13.2 PPG and 5.5 RPG from 2007 to 2010. Jacob "Jake" Anderson (born April 29, 1984), better known by his stage name Prof, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He released his first full-length album, ''Project Gampo'', in 2007 and has since released five additional albums and three EPs. Jake Anderson (born January 22, 1992) is an American professional rugby player who currently plays for Olympic Club RFC and is best known for playing for the United States national rugby union team at the 2016 Americas Rugby Championship. Carnifex (band)
Carnifex is an American deathcore band from San Diego County, California. Formed in 2005, they are currently signed to Nuclear Blast after having been signed to Victory Records. They have released eight full-length albums and three EPs. Since 2022, the band has consisted of founding members, lead vocalist Scott Ian Lewis and drummer Shawn Cameron, along with rhythm guitarist Cory Arford, bassist Fred Calderon and lead guitarist Neal Tiemann. History Formation and early recordings (2005–2006) Carnifex was founded in December 2005 in Fallbrook, California. They debuted their career with a self-titled EP, which was released on May 18, 2006.
