Jake Allen (American Football)
Jjathus Illimski "Jake" Allen (born January 19, 1985) is a former American football wide receiver. He was signed by the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League as an undrafted free agent in 2008. He played college football at Mississippi College. He also played for the Cleveland Browns. Professional career Green Bay Packers Allen was signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2008. He spent the 2008 season on the team's practice squad, and was signed to a future contract at the end of the season. On October 27, 2009 Allen was signed from the practice squad to the active roster after wide receiver Brett Swain was placed on injured reserve. He was waived on November 18. Jake Allen (ice Hockey)
Jake Allen (born August 7, 1990) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender for the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). Allen was selected by the St. Louis Blues in the second round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft with the 34th overall pick. Allen won the Stanley Cup with the Blues in 2019. Early life Allen was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, the son of Kurt and Susan Allen. Allen grew up in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, where his father worked as a high school teacher until 1999. He started playing hockey at a young age, first as a skater, then switched to the goalie position. Playing career Amateur Allen played for the Midget "AAA" Canadiens under Kevin Pottle, before being drafted in the third round of the QMJHL draft to the St. John's Fog Devils. Jake Allen (born 11 August 1995) is an Australian speedway rider. He currently rides in the top tier of British Speedway in the SGB Premiership. Career He began his British career riding for the Somerset Rebels in 2016, winning the Premier League and Premier League Cup. In 2021, Allen rodes for the Ipswich Witches in the SGB Premiership and the Redcar Bears in the SGB Championship. In 2022, he signed for Scunthorpe Scorpions again in the SGB Championship 2022 and also had spells at Belle Vue and Sheffield in the Premiership. Neil Kleid (born 1975) is an American cartoonist who received a 2003 Xeric Award grant for his graphic novella ''Ninety Candles'' (2004). Raised in Oak Park, Michigan, he lives in New Jersey Kleid wrote '' Brownsville'', a graphic novel about Murder, Inc., with Jake Allen; '' The Big Kahn'', a graphic novel about family, faith, and con men, with Nicolas Cinquegrani, for NBM Publishing; and ''Ursa Minors!'', an action/comedy mini-series for Slave Labor Graphics.
