Jaihind Television is an Indian Malayalam-language channel, based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. It was launched on 17 August 2007, in Delhi by the Indian National Congress President and United Progressive Alliance Chairperson Sonia Gandhi. This channel is promoted by the Congress party with the support of non-resident Indians. Ramesh Chennithala, is the Chairman of the Channel. Thiruvananthapuram (; ), also known by its former name Trivandrum (), is the capital of the Indian state of Kerala. It is the most populous city in Kerala with a population of 957,730 as of 2011. ''9 KK Road'' is a 2010 Malayalam mystery film directed by Simon Kuruvila under the banner of Sun Pictures. The film features Babu Antony, Vijayaraghavan and Nishanth Sagar in the lead roles.
