Jahurul Islam (cricketer)
Mohammad Jahurul Islam Omi ( bn, মোহম্মাদ জহুরুল ইসলাম, born 12 December 1986) is a Bangladeshi international cricketer. He played Test, One Day International and Twenty20 International cricket for Bangladesh between 2010 and 2013. Career Islam made his debut for Rajshahi Division in 2002/03 playing through the 2006/07 season. He also played for Bangladesh A in 2004, scoring 87 against England A. A right-handed batsman and occasional off-break bowler and wicket keeper. He is sometimes referred to on scoresheets by his nickname Aumi. He has scored two first-class centuries for his state, with a best of 139 against Barisal Division. He scored 71 against Dhaka Division in the one day game. He was the leading run-scorer for Gazi Group Cricketers in the 2017–18 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, with 401 runs in 14 matches. 2017–18 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League
The 2017–18 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League was an edition of the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, a List A cricket competition that was held in Bangladesh. It was the fifth edition of the tournament with List A status, although almost 35 seasons had been played before achieving the status. It started on 5 February 2018 and finished on 5 April 2018. Gazi Group Cricketers were the defending champions. Abahani Limited won the tournament, after beating Legends of Rupganj by 94 runs in the final Super League fixture. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) held a draft system for players on 20 January 2018. The 2019–20 BPL season, also known as BPL 7 or Bangabandhu BPL Presented by Akash DTH and Powered by TVS (for sponsorship reasons), was the seventh season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the top level professional Twenty20 cricket league in Bangladesh. The Rangpur Riders ( Rangpuriya/ bn, রংপুর রাইডার্স), is a professional cricket team based in Rangpur City, Rangpur. The Riders, compete in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the premier cricket league in Bangladesh. The Rangpur Riders, joined the league as a member in 2013, prior to the second edition of the tournament.
