Jahja Fehratović
Jahja Fehratović ( sr-cyr, Јахја Фехратовић; born 29 March 1982) is a Serbian Bosniak politician and academic. He has been a member of the National Assembly of Serbia since 2016 and is also a member of the Bosniak National Council. Fehratović was the leader of the Bosniak Democratic Union of Sandžak (''Bošnjačka demokratska zajednica Sandžaka'', BDZ Sandžak) from the party's formation in 2013 until December 2017, when it was reconstituted as the Justice and Reconciliation Party (''Stranka pravde i pomirenja'', SPP) under the leadership of Chief Mufti Muamer Zukorlić. He was a vice-president of the SPP until he left the party in 2023. Bosnian (language)
Bosnian (; / , ) is the standardized variety of the Serbo-Croatian pluricentric language mainly used by ethnic Bosniaks. Bosnian is one of three such varieties considered official languages of Bosnia and Herzegovina, along with Croatian and Serbian. It is also an officially recognized minority language in Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Kosovo. Bosnian uses both the Latin and Cyrillic alphabets, with Latin in everyday use. It is notable among the varieties of Serbo-Croatian for a number of Arabic, Persian and Turkish loanwords, largely due to the language's interaction with those cultures through Islamic ties. Bosnian is based on the most widespread dialect of Serbo-Croatian, Shtokavian, more specifically on Eastern Herzegovinian, which is also the basis of standard Croatian, Serbian and Montenegrin varieties. The Party of Democratic Action of Sandžak ( bs, Stranka demokratske akcije Sandžaka, sr, Странка демократске акције Санџака, SDA S) is a political party in Serbia, representing the Bosniak ethnic minority concentrated in Sandžak region. Tutin, Serbia
Tutin ( sr-cyrl, Тутин) is a town and municipality located in the Raška District of southwestern Serbia. According to a 2011 census, the municipality of Tutin has a population of 31,155 people. History The settlement of Gluhavica in the territory of Tutin is likely the oldest village attested by name in the municipality. It was an iron mining center of Stefan Milutin, King of Serbia in the early 14th century century. After the battle of Kosovo (1389), the Gluhavica mine was the first to be placed under direct Ottoman control in the area. A kadi of Gluhavica is attested as early as 1396. Emir Elfić
Emir Elfić ( sr-cyr, Емир Елфић; born 31 August 1977) is a Serbian Bosniak politician and diplomat. He served in the National Assembly of Serbia from 2012 to 2014 and has held high political office at the city level in Novi Pazar. From 2016 to 2022, Elfić served as Serbia's ambassador to Lebanon. 2012 Serbian Presidential Election
Presidential elections were held in Serbia on 6 May 2012 alongside parliamentary elections. The elections were called following President Boris Tadić's early resignation in order to coincide with the parliamentary and local elections to be held on the same date. The Speaker of the Parliament, Slavica Đukić Dejanović, took over as the Acting President. As no candidate won a majority, a runoff was on 20 May, with incumbent Tadić facing Tomislav Nikolić of the Serbian Progressive Party. According to preliminary results published by CeSID, Ipsos and RIK, Tomislav Nikolić had beaten his opponent Boris Tadić and is the new President of Serbia. Rasim Ljajić ( sr-cyrl, Расим Љајић, ; born 28 January 1964) is a Serbian politician who served as the Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia and the Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications from 27 July 2012 to 28 October 2020. Sulejman Ugljanin (; sr-cyrl, Сулејман Угљанин; born 20 November 1953) is a Serbian politician. An ethnic Bosniak, he has led the Party of Democratic Action of Sandžak since its establishment in 1990. Ugljanin was previously the president of the Bosniak National Council and a deputy in the National Assembly. He was the Mayor of Novi Pazar, and the former Minister without portfolio in the Government of Serbia between 2008 and 2014.
