Jahangir Siddiqui
Jahangir Siddiqui is a Pakistani businessman and founder of Jahangir Siddiqui & Co. and JS Bank. Career On May 15, 1962, with the support of his family, Siddiqui became a local distributor of ice cream and Coca-Cola. In 1966, he completed a bachelor's degree in commerce, and began training as a chartered accountant in 1967. His interest in stock markets eventually led him to start his own company in October 1971. In 1971, Siddiqui founded Jahangir Siddiqui & Co. Ltd, which by growth and acquisition eventually became the JS Group of companies. To raise money to start the company after his father's initial refusal to lend him Rs 6,000 to start a business, Siddiqui secretly stole and sold his family's car to a junk dealer for Rs1,800, along with the family's two-year stock of wheat and coal, all of which were stored in the family's house at the time. Jahangir Siddiqui & Co
Nur-ud-Din Muhammad Salim (30 August 1569 – 28 October 1627), known by his imperial name Jahangir (; ), was the fourth Mughal Emperor, who ruled from 1605 until he died in 1627. He was named after the Indian Sufi saint, Salim Chishti. Early life Prince Salim was the third son born to Akbar and his favourite Queen Consort, Mariam-uz-Zamani in Fatehpur Sikri on 30 August 1569. He had two elder brothers, Hassan Mirza and Hussain Mirza, born as twins to his parents in 1564, both of whom died in infancy. The High Court of Sindh ( ur, ) is the highest judicial institution of the Pakistani province of Sindh. Established in 1906, the Court situated in the provincial capital at Karachi. Apart from being the highest Court of Appeal for Sindh in civil and criminal matters, the Court was the District Court and the Court of Session in Karachi. Ali Jehangir Siddiqui ( ur, ; born 5 December 1976) is a Pakistani diplomat and entrepreneur. He has served as the Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States, as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan with the status of Minister of State and Pakistan's Ambassador for Foreign Investment in an honorary capacity. He has also served in various business and government advisory councils, policy institutions, and commercial entities. Naya Nazimabad Cricket Stadium is the home ground for the Karachi Kings, a PSL franchise owned by ARY's CEO Salman Iqbal. A couple years back, the heavy rain in Karachi caused some blocks of the housing project to be flooded because of inadequate sewage and water disposal lines, however the management has now taken adequate measures to prevent a similar situation in the future.
