Virendra Jagtap
Virendra Jagtap (born 11 August 1963) is a member of the Indian National Congress Party, he was elected continuously for the third time as the member of Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha representing the erstwhile Chandur Constituency & Dhamangaon constituency. He was previously the president of Amravati District Congress Committee (Rural) and served as the Chairperson of the Employment Guarantee Scheme (EGS) Committee of the Maharashtra Legislature. Early life Virendra Jagtap was born to Prof. Walmikrao Jagtap and Dr. Sulbha Jagtap on 11 August 1963, at Wardha, Maharashtra. He graduated from G. S. Bhai Jagtap (birth name Ashok Arjunrao Jagtap) is an Indian politician and member of the Indian National Congress from Mumbai Maharashtra. He is a two term Maharashtra Legislative Council ( MLC) and a one term Maharashtra Legislative Assembly ( MLA). He currently serves as the President of the Mumbai Regional Congress Committee. Political career Jagtap started his political career as a trade union leader. His Bharatiya Kamgar Karmachari Mahasangh was a success story among trade unions. Laxman Pandurang Jagtap (15 February 1963 – 3 January 2023) was an Indian politician from Chinchwad in the city of Pune. He was elected as a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from Chinchwad for 2009 – 2014 as an independent candidate. He was the M.L.A. of Chinchwad. Jagtap contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Maval constituency as a Peasants and Workers Party of India candidate. He contested again for the same assembly constituency in 2014 but as BJP candidate instead. He was a member of the legislative assembly. Manali Jagtap (born in 1978, Kolhapur , India) is a multi-award winning designer and a political artist. She lives and works in Malta, India and the UK. In 2017, she was invited to lead the visual art project for the ŻiguŻajg International Arts Festival for Children & Young People in Malta, which saw 10,000 school children leave wishes for others.
