P. V. Jagadish Kumar (born 12 June 1955) known mononymously as Jagadish, is an Indian actor, screenwriter, television presenter and former politician. He has starred in over 375 Malayalam films and 2 Hindi films. He is best known for his comic and character roles. Jagadish starred in over 50 films as the lead actor during the 1990s. He was one of the bankable lead stars in Malayalam cinema during the 1990s, along with Mukesh, Siddique, Sreenivasan and Jayaram. Jagadish made his acting debut with ''My Dear Kuttichathan'' (1984), India's first 3D film. He got a big break with his role as Appukuttan in Siddique-Lal's ''In Harihar Nagar'' (1990). ''In Harihar Nagar'' is a 1990 Indian Malayalam-language comedy thriller film written and directed by Siddique-Lal. The film, set in the fictional locality of Harihar Nagar follows four unemployed bachelors: Mahadevan (Mukesh), Govindan Kutty ( Siddique), Appukuttan (Jagadeesh) and Thomas Kutty ( Ashokan) and their attempts to woo their new neighbour (Geetha Vijayan). It also stars Rizabawa, Kaviyoor Ponnamma and Rekha, with Suresh Gopi and Sai Kumar making cameo appearances. The music was composed by S. Balakrishnan. Siddique (actor)
Siddique (born 1 October 1962) is an Indian actor and producer, who works mainly in Malayalam cinema. Along with appearing in over 350 Malayalam films, he has also acted in a few Tamil, Telugu and Hindi language films. He is known for having played a wide range of starring and supporting roles, including comic characters, romantic leads, anti-heroes and villains. Siddik made his acting debut with the film '' Aa Neram Alppa Dooram'' (1985). He got a break with the comedy film ''In Harihar Nagar'' (1990). ''Kunukkitta Kozhi'' () is a 1992 Indian Malayalam-language comedy-drama film directed by Viji Thampi and written by Kaloor Dennis, starring Jagadeesh, Siddique, Rupini and Parvathy. My Dear Kuttichathan
''My Dear Kuttichathan'' () is a 1984 Indian Malayalam-language fantasy film directed by Jijo Punnoose and produced by his father Navodaya Appachan under Navodaya Studio. It was the first Indian film to be filmed in 3D format. With screenplay by Raghunath Paleri, the story revolves around a mystical indigenous Genie called " Kuttichathan" who is under the spell of an evil sorcerer, however it gets released by three children and then befriends them. Mukesh Madhavan (born 5 March 1957), known mononymously as Mukesh, is an Indian actor, film producer, television presenter, and politician who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema besides also having sporadically appeared in Tamil-language films.
