Jadir Ambrósio
Jadir Ambrósio (December 8, 1922 – September 30, 2014) was a List of Brazilian musicians, Brazilian musician. He took a course on piano, singing, and chorus at the Conservatório Mineiro de Música in Belo Horizonte. It was the Conservatory the place chosen for the musician to distill his emotion. Where in 1965, at 43 years old, he composed the lyrics and music to the “Hino ao Campeão Cruzeiro Esporte Clube”, for Cruzeiro Esporte Clube, of Minas Gerais, the team of his heart, and one of the most popular Brazilian football teams. Jadir Ambrósio participated in many diverse musical groups. Among his works he also composed a popular samba that spoke of the love between brothers. América Futebol Clube (MG)
América Futebol Clube (also known as América Mineiro, Coelho or simply América) is a Brazilian football team from the city of Belo Horizonte, capital city of the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais. Founded in 1912, the club preserves its name and crest since its inception. The original home kit colours are white and green only; the black color was incorporated in the 1970s. The team also played with a red home kit between 1933 and 1942, as a protest to the introduction of professionalism. It hosts its matches at Independência stadium, being the only professional club in Belo Horizonte to have its own stadium. The club has the third largest fan base among the teams from Minas Gerais. Luiz Gonzaga
Luiz Gonzaga do Nascimento (standard orthography 'Luís'; ; Exu, December 13, 1912 – Recife, August 2, 1989) was a Brazilian singer, songwriter, musician and poet and one of the most influential figures of Brazilian popular music in the twentieth century. He has been credited with having presented the rich universe of Northeastern musical genres to all of Brazil, having popularized the musical genre baião and has been called a "revolutionary" by Antônio Carlos Jobim. According to Caetano Veloso, he was the first significant cultural event with mass appeal in Brazil. Luiz Gonzaga received the Shell prize for Brazilian Popular Music in 1984 and was only the fourth artist to receive this prize after Pixinguinha, Antônio Carlos Jobim and Dorival Caymmi.
