Jade Solid Gold (Chinese: 勁歌金曲, literally ''"powerful song golden melody"'') is a music show on the TVB Jade television channel in Hong Kong. It has been running since October 10, 1981. Broadcasting time TVB Jade *Sunday at 11:00pm to 11:45pm TVB HD Jade *Next Saturday at 5pm to 6pm History Starting on October 10, 1981, every week, Jade Solid Gold features today's music videos, live performances or concerts, and a countdown of the top 20 best albums sold amongst the competition. The show has a live audience. Most of the performances are cantopop, rock, soul, and light music. Every January the Jade Solid Gold Best Ten Music Awards Presentation (十大勁歌金曲頒獎典禮) is one of the biggest music awards in Hong Kong. Nadia Chan
Nadia Chan (; born 21 January 1971) is a Hong Kong actress, singer, Model (person), model, and spokesperson. Life and career Chan was born to Chinese Ethnic Indonesian parents. Chan's parents are Indonesian Chinese and her family moved to Hong Kong when she was three years old. She started show business in 1985 at the age of 14, winning a Sally Yeh impersonation contest hosted by TVB, within the show ''Enjoy Yourself Tonight'' (歡樂今宵). Cindy Au Sin-yi (born December 16, 1979) is a Hong Kong TVB actress. She plays major supporting roles in drama serials. Career Cindy Au Sin-yi began her entertainment career as a singer, and was famous for the theme song to the Cantonese version of the cartoon ''Chibi Maruko-chan''. at17, consisting of Eman Lam and Ellen Joyce Loo, were a Hong Kong–based folktronica and Cantopop all-female band managed by People Mountain People Sea. Biography Loo and Lam first met each other at a singing competition held by Tom Lee Music Hong Kong – "Original Music 2000" (原音2000), in which Loo won the 3rd Prize and Lam won the 2nd. They were among the youngest participants. After the competition, they started performing at university campuses and other tertiary institutions in Hong Kong. In 2001, they were discovered by Anthony Wong Yiu-ming, the chairman of the music production company People Mountain People Sea and a renowned singer-songwriter during the 90's.
