''Jada'' is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language sports horror film. The film stars Kathir and Roshini Prakash, while Kishore and Yogi Babu play supporting roles. Plot Jada (Kathir) is a fearless young football player in North Chennai. His coach tells him to play well so that he can get selected in Santhosh Trophy and eventually secure a job in sports quota. But Jada wants to avenge the death of his childhood football hero Sethu ( Kishore) who died in the violent 7s football. The local government has banned the 7s football but the neighborhood football committee lifts the ban after ten years. Kathir (actor)
Kathir is an Indian actor who appears in Tamil language films. He made his breakthrough by playing the lead role in ''Madha Yaanai Koottam'' (2013) and gained critical acclaim for his performance in ''Kirumi'' (2015), ''Vikram Vedha'' (2017), ''Pariyerum Perumal'' (2018) and '' Sigai'' (2019). In 2022, he starred in the Prime Video thriller series '' Suzhal: The Vortex''. Early life Kathir was born and brought up in Erode. He completed his basic education in Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and pursued Civil engineering in Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore. He married Sanjana on 4 March 2018. Baradwaj Rangan is an Indian film critic, writer, and formerly the deputy editor of ''The Hindu''. He later became a senior editor of Film Companion.
