Jacques Onana
Jacques Ghislain Onana Ndzomo (born 23 August 1993) is a Cameroonian footballer who plays as a defender. Career Onana signed for Moldovan National Division club Petrocub Hîncești in 2017. He made his debut for the club on 30 April 2017 in a 1–0 loss against Dacia Chișinău. On 22 January 2021, he extended his contract with the club. In the sport of association football, a defender is an outfield position whose primary role is to stop attacks during the game and prevent the opposition from scoring. Moldovan National Division
The Moldovan Super Liga is an association football league that is currently the top division of Moldovan football league system. The competition was established in 1992, when the country became independent from the Soviet Union. It was formed in place of former Soviet republican competitions that existed since 1945. Before the Soviet occupation of Bessarabia and Northern Bukovina in 1940, clubs from modern Moldova competed in the Romanian football competitions, particularly Nistru Chișinău. There are currently eight teams in the competition. At the end of the season, the bottom club is relegated to the Moldovan Liga 1 and replaced by the lower league's champion. Sheriff Tiraspol—located in Transnistria—is the most successful league club with 20 titles, and is followed by Zimbru Chișinău with eight wins. Fotbal Club Dacia Chișinău, commonly known as Dacia Chișinău or simply Dacia, was a Moldovan football club based in Chișinău, which last played in the village of Speia, Anenii Noi. They participated in the Divizia Națională, the top division in Moldovan football. The club's name came from Dacia, an ancient civilization which covered parts of modern Moldova. Established in 1999, it entered the Moldovan "A" Division in 2000 and was promoted to the first division two years later. They won their first league title in the 2010–11 season, thereby qualifying for the preliminaries of the UEFA Champions League. 2019–20 Moldovan Cup
The 2019–20 Moldovan Cup ( ro, Cupa Moldovei) was the 29th season of the annual Moldovan football cup competition. The competition started on 20 April 2019 with the preliminary round and concluded with the final on 30 June 2020. The winner qualifies for the first qualifying round of the 2020–21 UEFA Europa League. Format and Schedule The preliminary round and the first two rounds proper are regionalised to reduce teams travel costs. Participating clubs The following 49 teams qualified for the competition: Preliminary round 18 clubs from the Divizia B entered this round.
