Ulla Jacobsson (23 May 1929 – 20 August 1982) was a Swedish actress. She had the lead role in One Summer of Happiness (1951) and played the only female speaking role in the film '' Zulu'' (1964). Early life Jacobsson was born in Mölndal, Gothenburg and Bohus County, Sweden on May 23, 1929. Career Jacobsson was one of 48 candidates chosen to attend Gothenburg Acting City Theatre School. She began acting in this theatre in 1952. She began her professional career in her native Gothenburg and appeared in classical and modern theater roles before turning to film. Jacobsson's first acting role was of the Bride Nissa in the drama ''The Sea in Fire'' (1951); although, she may be best known for her role in ''Zulu'' (1964) where she played the only female speaking role. Emma Charlotte Stiasny Jacobsson (1883 in Vienna – 1977) was an Austrian-born Swedish botanist, art historian, knitwear designer, and entrepreneur. She was a founder of the Bohus Stickning knitting cooperative, and the executive director during its thirty years of operation. Early life Jacobsson was born into a Jewish family in Vienna, Austria. Her parents, Franz Clemens Stiasny and Anna Stiasny, were members of an intellectual community in Vienna that included Sigmund Freud. She earned a doctorate in botany in 1913; her dissertationVersuch einer histologisch-phylogenetischen Bearbeitung der Papilionaceae concerned the phylogenetics of the flowering plant subfamily Faboideae or Papilionoideae. Anders Jacobsson (born 1963) and Sören Olsson (born 1964) are two Sweden, Swedish-born cousins who are writers of children's literature and young adult fiction. They are best known for their books about Sune series, Sune and Bert diaries, Bert, but also Tuva-Lisa and Emanuel Hjort, Emanuel. They have also written the scripts of several television series. Their inspiration comes from their own youth, and talking to young adults (when visiting schools) and their own imagination. Sören Olsson has illustrated the Sune books and the first Bert book, while the other Bert books, in the old Bert book series, were illustrated by Sonja Härdin. Recordings and radio broadcasts consist of Anders reading Sune, and Sören reading Bert. The cousins have also created music together, as the act ''Hemliga byrån''. Per Jacobsson
Per Jacobsson (5 February 1894 – 5 May 1963) was a Swedish economist who served as the managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) from 1956 until his death in 1963. Born in Tanum, Bohuslän, Jacobsson received degrees in law and economics from the Uppsala University. He was employed at the League of Nations from 1920 to 1928, and later the Bank of International Settlements from 1931 onward. In December 1956, he was appointed as the managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), a position he held until his death on 5 May 1963. He was buried in the Swedish section of Brookwood Cemetery. Jacobsson was an elected an International Member of the American Philosophical Society in 1957. Oscar Jacobsson (Göteborg, 1889 – Solberga, December 25, 1945) was a Swedish comic creator and cartoonist who started his career in 1918, when his first newspaper illustration was published. Jacobsson's first illustrations were published in Naggen. In 1920, he created the comic strip '' Adamson'' for the publication ''Söndags-Nisse''. Adamson himself was a (usually) silent little cigar-smoking man with a big hat and frequent misadventures. The strip soon became very popular and became published in hundreds of newspapers all over the world. In the United States, it became known as "Silent Sam". Jonas Jacobsson (born 22 June 1965) is a Swedish sport shooter who has won several gold medals at the Paralympic Games. He participated in ten consecutive Summer Paralympics from 1980 to 2016, winning a total of seventeen gold, two silver, and nine bronze medals. In 1996, he won two gold medals in the air rifle 3×40 and English match events and a bronze in the air rifle prone at the Atlanta Paralympics. Selma Ida Jacobsson (27 January 1841, in Stockholm – 30 March 1899, in Stockholm) was a Swedish photographer. Selma Jacobsson was born to the merchant Levi Abraham Jacobsson and Sally Pohl, the sister of the opera singer Agnes Jacobsson and the architect Ernst Jacobsson, and married the Armenian linguist Norayr de Byzance in 1881. She was a student of Bertha Valerius. She opened her own photographic studio in Stockholm in 1872. She was a successful photographer with clients within the diplomatic corps and high society.
