Jacobo Zabludovsky
Jacobo Zabludovsky Kraveski (May 24, 1928 – July 2, 2015) was a Mexican journalist. He was the first anchorman in Mexican television and his TV news program, ''24 Horas'' (''24 Hours'') was for decades regarded as the most important in the country. Early life Zabludovsky was born in 1928 in Mexico City to Polish Jewish immigrants. He was the brother of Abraham Zabludovsky (1924-2003), a famous architect. Career Zabludovsky was a well known anchor man hosting ''24 Horas,'' the main news program on the popular Televisa network between 1970 and 1998. Owing to the nonconfrontational approach of the network, the programme was perceived as partisan and supportive of the government. In 1998, citing a desire to cut down his workload and ill-health, he retired from presenting ''24 Horas'', which also came to an end with his departure, marking the end of an era in Mexican journalism. XEN-AM (branded as Radio Centro/El Fonógrafo) is a commercial radio station in Mexico City. It airs a talk radio and Spanish oldies radio format on 690 kHz. The station is owned by Grupo Radio Centro. XEN broadcasts with 100,000 watts by day. But to avoid interfering with other stations on AM 690, it reduces power at night to 5,000 watts. The transmitter is in the San Miguel Teotongo neighborhood in Mexico City. The New York Cosmos is an American professional association football, soccer club based in Uniondale, New York, that plays in the National Independent Soccer Association (NISA). Cuba National Football Team
The Cuba national football team ( es, Selección de fútbol de Cuba) represents Cuba in men's international football and it is controlled by the Football Association of Cuba. Nicknamed Leones del Caribe (''Lions of Caribbean''), the team represents all three FIFA, Caribbean Football Union and Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF).
