Jacob Wayne Young (born September 10, 1979) is an American actor and producer. He is a five-time Daytime Emmy Award nominee, winning once in 2002 for his role as Lucky Spencer in the soap opera '' General Hospital'' (2000–2003). He is best known for his roles as Rick Forrester in the soap opera ''The Bold and the Beautiful'' (1997–1999, 2011–2018) and JR Chandler in the soap opera '' All My Children'' (2003–2011). Early life and career Jacob Wayne Young was born in Renton, Washington, the youngest child of Rhonda and Michael Young, Sr. and was raised in Loveland, Colorado, and Roy, Washington, moving to San Diego, California at age seventeen with his mother. Jacob Young (born 1952) is an American screenwriter, cinematographer, film editor, and filmmaker best known for creating documentary films that explore eccentric people living in his native Appalachia. Career Young was a producer at WNPB-TV in Morgantown, West Virginia, when he conceived ''Appalachian Junkumentary'' (1986), a film eventually purchased by over 90 PBS stations and winning a 1988 PBS Special Achievement Award. It became one of 15 U.S. television shows later selected for an international screening conference. Young was also producer for two seasons of the documentary series ''Different Drummer'', broadcast by the BBC and Public TV. His film ''Dancing Outlaw'' (1992) received both a 1992 Emmy Award and a 1993 American Film Institute Award for 'Best Documentary. Jacob Albert Young (born 14 July 1970) is a Norwegian jazz guitarist, arranger, composer, and band leader. He has recorded with Karin Krog, Arild Andersen, Larry Goldings, Nils Petter Molvær, Bendik Hofseth, Terje Gewelt, Per Oddvar Johansen, Arve Henriksen, Jarle Vespestad, Trygve Seim, Mats Eilertsen, Vigleik Storaas, Christian Wallumrød, Bendik Hofseth, Håkon Kornstad, Knut Reiersrud, and Audun Erlien. Career Young was educated at the University of Oslo and in New York. After graduation, he returned to Oslo in 1995, and released the album ''This is you'' (1995), with the musicians Larry Goldings, Nils Petter Molvær, Bendik Hofseth, Terje Gewelt and Per Oddvar Johansen. Jacob Young (born 2 February 1993) is a British Conservative Party politician serving as Assistant Government Whip since September 2022. He was elected as the member of Parliament (MP) for Redcar at the 2019 general election. He is the first Conservative MP to represent the constituency. Early life and career Young was born in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire as the son of Terrence Anthony Young and Elizabeth Anne Young. He grew up in a working-class family in Middlesbrough, and has six siblings. Young attended Macmillan Academy, and then studied at the Redcar & Cleveland College and the TTE Technical Institute. Jacob Michael Young (born September 21, 1997) is an American professional basketball player for the Windy City Bulls of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Oregon Ducks of the Pac-12 Conference. He also played for the Texas Longhorns and the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. High school career Young played basketball for Yates High School in Houston. He was a two-time Class 5A All-State selection. He committed to playing college basketball for Texas over offers from Baylor, Duquesne and Memphis.
