Jacob R. Kuhnle
Jacob Reimers Kuhnle (29 July 1907 – 28 March 1996) was a Norwegian newspaper editor. He finished secondary school in 1926, and was hired as a sports journalist in ''Bergens Aftenblad'' in 1928. From 1938 to 1942 he was subeditor. From 1945 to 1962 he was a subeditor in ''Morgenavisen'', from 1962 to 1966 he was editor-in-chief jointly with Erling Lauhn and from 1966 to 1974 he was the sole editor-in-chief of ''Morgenavisen''. He also held causeries in the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation radio. He was awarded the Narvesen Prize in 1961. He was a board member of the Norwegian Press Association from 1946 to 1955, and also of Den Nationale Scene and the Bergen International Festival. He died in March 1996. Examen artium was the name of the academic certification conferred in Denmark and Norway, qualifying the student for admission to university studies. Examen artium was originally introduced as the entrance exam of the University of Copenhagen in 1630. The University of Copenhagen was the only university of Denmark-Norway until The Royal Frederick University in Christiania was founded in 1811. Gidske Anderson
Gidske Anderson (4 November 1921 – 19 October 1993) was a Norwegian journalist, editor and author. Biography She was born in Oslo, Norway. Her parents were Yngve Anderson (1892-–1981) and Gidske Halvorsen (1895–1985). She studied at Aars og Voss skole and graduated from the State Teachers' School (''Statens teiknelärarskole'') at Notodden. She worked for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) and then the newspaper ''Arbeiderbladet'' (1954–64) in Paris. From 1964 to 1967 she was a freelance journalist in the United States. She became editor of the foreign affairs section of ''Arbeiderbladet'' from 1967 to 1972, and then was Paris correspondent for NRK from 1973 to 1975. Henning Lange Sinding-Larsen (1 November 1904 – 18 November 1994) was a Norwegian journalist. Personal life He was born in Asker as a son of painter Kristofer Sinding-Larsen (1873–1948) and Margrethe Volkersen (1880–1951). He was a grandson of Alfred Sinding-Larsen, a nephew of Christian Magnus Sinding-Larsen, Birger Fredrik Sinding-Larsen and Holger Sinding-Larsen, and a first cousin of Knut Martens Sinding-Larsen. Sinding-Larsen was married three times. From 1930 to 1932 he was married to Gunhild Thalbitzer (1904–1995), daughter of Carl Thalbitzer.
