Jaclyn Hawkins
Jaclyn Hawkins (born February 28, 1985) is a Canadian former ice hockey player for the Connecticut Huskies women's ice hockey program, the ZSC Lions Frauen of the Switzerland women's ice hockey league and the Boston Blades of the former CWHL. Hawkins is an entrepreneur and the founder and owner of WomensHockeyLife Ltd, WHL Podcast, WHL Profile, WHL Academy, and WHL Gear. Playing career Prior to her NCAA career, Hawkins played at South Carleton High School in the Ottawa, Ontario area with future St. Lawrence Skating Saints women's ice hockey skater Chelsea Grills. In the first eight games of the 2000 season, both Grills and Hawkins averaged four points a game as the South Carleton Storm started the season with an 8–0 record. Connecticut Huskies Women's Ice Hockey
The UConn Huskies women's ice hockey program represents the University of Connecticut. The Huskies compete in the Hockey East (HEA) conference of the NCAA Division I. History The UConn Huskies women's ice hockey team began in 2000, under head coach Heather Linstad. In its first season, the team played as an independent team. In the 2001–02 season, the team joined the ECAC Hockey women's conference. Since the 2002–03 season, they have participated in the Hockey East (HEA), also known as the Women's Hockey East Association (WHEA), conference. The team plays in the Mark Edward Freitas Ice Forum. Forward Jaclyn Hawkins, who played during 2004 to 2007, is ranked 10th in career goals in the WHEA. She scored 51 goals and 43 assists in 81 games. The 2012–13 CWHL season (Canadian Women's Hockey League) was the league's sixth. The Boston Blades defeated the defending champions Montreal Stars at the 2013 Clarkson Cup, finals in Markham, Ontario. Kelli Stack
Kelli Allison Stack (born January 13, 1988) is an American former ice hockey forward, who played for Kunlun Red Star in the Canadian Women's Hockey League. She is a member of the United States women's national ice hockey team. Stack competed for the Boston College Eagles women's ice hockey program and after completing her Olympic commitment, returned to Boston College for her senior year of 2010–11. She was drafted 14th overall by the Boston Blades in the 2011 CWHL Draft. Gigi Marvin
Gisele Marie "Gigi" Marvin (born March 7, 1987) is an American ice hockey player for the Boston Pride of the National Women's Hockey League. As a member of the United States national women's ice hockey team, Marvin won a silver medal at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games and the 2014 Winter Olympics, and a gold medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics. 2012 Clarkson Cup
The 2012 Clarkson Cup is a women's ice hockey tournament that was contested in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Niagara Falls, Ontario to determine the champion of the Canadian Women's Hockey League from March 22, 2012 to March 25, 2012. The Montreal Stars defeated the Brampton Thunder by a 4-2 tally to claim their third title in four years. Over 5,000 spectators attended the games at the Gale Centre. Liz Knox
Elizabeth "Liz" Knox (born June 9, 1988) is a Canadian retired ice hockey goaltender. She ranks second all-time among Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL) goaltenders for games played and won the Clarkson Cup in 2017–18 CWHL season, 2018. An outspoken leader among players, she served as chair of the CWHL Player's Association and was a founding board member of the Professional Women's Hockey Players Association (PWHPA) after the collapse of the CWHL. Micaela Long
Micaela Long (born November 16, 1987) is an American professional ice hockey player, most recently for the Connecticut Whale of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). Long previously played for the Boston Blades of the Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL). Personal life Between 2006 and 2010, Long played in the NCAA for the University of New Hampshire. The Toronto Furies were a professional women's ice hockey team that played in Toronto, Ontario, as members of the Canadian Women's Hockey League. The Toronto Furies played their home games at the Mastercard Centre in Toronto. The team was established in 2010 as an expansion team called Toronto CWHL during a league-wide restructuring.
