''Jackpot'' ( bn, জ্যাকপট) is a 2009 Bengali film directed by Kaushik Ganguly. The film stars Hiran Chatterjee, Koyel Mallick, Rahul Banerjee, and Sohini Paul (the daughter of Tapas Paul). It was Paul's second film after her debut in ''Bow Barracks Forever''. Plot The film is about a reality show organized by Star Ananda, where the two finalists, Arka from the hills and Dodo from Sundarbans Sajnekhali, are given two tasks to fulfill. Dodo is given the duty of a police constable at Bhawanipur police station while Arka is given the duty of a driver. They have three days and two nights to battle out and win the prize of Rs. 1 crore. The one who makes fewer mistakes wins the jackpot. Anchor Suman Dey becomes the host, a runaway from a mental hospital. Mayhem begins when Piu's older sister and brother-in-law report at the Bhawanipur police station (where Dodo and Mithu are posted) and Arka learns of Piu's problems. Kaushik Ganguly (born 4 August 2012) is an Indian film director, screenwriter and actor in Bengali cinema. Multiple National Award winner Actor-Director, Kaushik Ganguly is known for making films that explore various aspects sexuality, like ''Ushnatar Janye'' (2003), which deals with a lesbian relationship, and ''Arekti Premer Golpo'' (2010), which examines transgender identity & '' Nagarkirtan'' (2017), an LGBTQ Movie. Deepak Adhikari (born 25 December 1982), known by his stage name Dev, is an Indian actor, producer, singer and film writer, known for his works in Tollywood, and more recently, a politician. He owns the production house Dev Entertainment Ventures Pvt. Ltd. Born in Keshpur, he made his acting debut in the 2006 film '' Agnishapath'' opposite Rachna Banerjee. Challenge (2009 Film)
''Challenge'' is a 2009 Indian Bengali action romance film directed by Raj Chakraborty. The film stars Dev and Subhashree Ganguly. For few scenes and music-videos, shooting was done in Dubai. The film is a remake of Telugu movie '' Dil'' (2003). Plot Abir joins a college where Pooja, daughter of a ruthless businessman, is studying. Her father is very obsessive and conservative in taking care of Pooja and does not tolerate if anyone directly or indirectly disturbs Pooja. Abir is ragged by a bunch of students, in return he smashes all of them. He also confronts her father's henchmen and makes them say sorry to him when they misbehave with him before his fight to the students. This is seen by Pooja and she gets impressed of him.
