Jack Stewart (soccer)
Jack Stewart (born May 29, 1983, in Torrance, California) is an American soccer player who last played for Fort Lauderdale Strikers of the North American Soccer League. Career High school Stewart attended South High School Torrance, CA, where he was a standout player voted to All-League and All-CIF awards. College and Amateur Stewart played college soccer at the University of Notre Dame, where he was named All-Big East his junior and senior seasons. He also played for Indiana Invaders in the USL Premier Development League. Professional Stewart was drafted tenth overall pick in the 2005 MLS SuperDraft by Chicago Fire, but he saw limited action with the team in his rookie season. He was traded to Real Salt Lake on July 25, 2006 in exchange for Ryan Johnson. He was waived by Salt Lake at the end of the 2007 season. The CONCACAF Champions League, known officially as the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League for sponsorship reasons, is an annual continental club football competition organized by CONCACAF. The tournament is contested by clubs from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. USL First Division
The USL First Division (usually referred to as USL-1) was a professional men's soccer league in the United States and Canada from 2005 to 2010. During its existence, it formed the second tier of soccer in the United States soccer league system behind Major League Soccer. It was operated by United Soccer Leagues (USL) and was known as the A-League, from 1997 until 2004. Several teams left the league in 2009 to form the new North American Soccer League, with the intent of running their own second-tier league. Ryan Johnson (born 26 November 1984) is a Jamaican former professional footballer who played as a forward. Career Youth and college Johnson was born in Kingston, Jamaica and moved to the Boston area with his family while he was still an infant. He played high school soccer and basketball at Melrose High School in Massachusetts, where he was a Middlesex League and Eastern Mass League soccer all-star.
