Jack Ruddy
John Robert Ruddy (born 27 December 1997) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Lowland League side East Kilbride. Club career Early career Born in Glasgow, Ruddy was on the books of hometown team Rangers from the age of seven to twelve, being coached by Andy Goram, before emigrating to Murcia in Spain in 2010. At the age of fifteen, after impressing for Torre Pacheco, he signed a contract for Real Murcia. Ruddy went on trial with Villarreal, but he was unable to sign a professional contract with any Spanish club due to a regulation requiring young players to have resided in Spain for at least five years. Bury On 30 July 2014, Ruddy returned to the United Kingdom, signing for Bury. Scotland National Under-19 Football Team
The Scotland national under-19 football team is the national football team representing Scotland for players of 19 years of age or under at the start of a European Under-19 Football Championship campaign. The team, which is controlled by the Scottish Football Association, acts as a feeder team to the Scotland national football team. The Football Association Challenge Cup, more commonly known as the FA Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic English football. Gigg Lane
Gigg Lane is a football ground in Bury, Greater Manchester, England, built for Bury F.C. in 1885. The first match was played on 12 September 1885 between Bury and a team from Wigan. One of the world's oldest professional football stadiums, Gigg Lane was in continuous use by Bury until August 2019 when the club was expelled from the English Football League. The ground's last competitive match was on 4 May 2019 when Bury hosted Port Vale. In November 2020, Bury F.C. was placed in administration and the ground was later put up for sale by the administrator. Andy Goram
Andrew Lewis Goram (13 April 1964 – 2 July 2022) was a Scottish footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Born in Bury, Lancashire, England, he started his career with Oldham Athletic and Hibernian, but he is best remembered for playing for Rangers during the 1990s, when he earned the nickname "The Goalie". In a 2001 poll of Rangers fans, Goram was voted Rangers' greatest-ever goalkeeper. Goram appeared in 43 international matches for Scotland and was selected for their squads at the 1986 and 1990 World Cups, UEFA Euro 1992 and UEFA Euro 1996. After his time with Rangers, Goram played for many clubs, most notably at Motherwell and a brief loan spell at Manchester United. 2017 Toulon Tournament
The 2017 Toulon Tournament (officially french: 45ème Festival International "Espoirs" – Tournoi Maurice Revello) was the 45th edition of the Toulon Tournament. The tournament was named after Maurice Revello, who started the tournament in 1967 and died in 2016. It was held in the department of Bouches-du-Rhône from 29 May to 10 June 2017. The 2017 edition was the first to feature 12 teams.
