Jack Parker (ice Hockey)
Jack Parker (born March 11, 1945) is the former head coach of the Boston University Terriers men's ice hockey team. The 2012–13 hockey season was Parker's 40th and final season as head coach of the Terriers, and his 47th overall at the school as a player or coach. Playing career Parker graduated from Catholic Memorial School in West Roxbury in 1964. He played for the Terriers from 1965 to 1968. The team was a combined 77–22–4 while Parker was a center for the team. Parker played on three Beanpot Championship teams and two teams which played in the NCAA tournament placing fourth in 1966 and second in 1967. Parker was captain of the team during his senior year on the team. Parker played against Boston College's former coach, Jerry York, while York was at BC and in high school. Jack Parker (born 1885) was a British cinematographer and cameraman. He worked on a mixture of features and documentary films during his career. In the 1930s he worked on a number of BIP and Butcher's Film Service productions, while in the 1940s he was employed as a cameraman on Ealing Studios films. Jack Parker (1905 – 1989) was an international motorcycle speedway rider who made his debut at the Whitsun meeting at High Beech in 1928. He won the British Riders' Championship in 1949 and finished second in the 1949 World Championship. Biography Parker was born in Birmingham, England, on 9 October 1905. Roger "Jack" Parker (September 27, 1915 – May 29, 1964) was an American athlete who competed mainly in the Decathlon. He competed for a United States in the 1936 Summer Olympics held in Berlin, Germany in the Decathlon where he won the bronze medal. Parker was an all around track and field athlete from Lamoni High School in Lamoni, Iowa. In 1933, Parker fell three points shy of winning the Iowa state high school team championship single-handedly, winning six events at the state finals.
