Jack Leggett
Jack Leggett (born March 5, 1954) is a retired American head college baseball coach. He was recently the head coach of the Clemson Tigers baseball, Clemson Tigers from 1994 to 2015. Under Leggett, the Tigers reached the College World Series six times. As of the end of the 2012 NCAA Division I baseball season, 2012 season, he had a career record of 1,224–694–1, with seven conference tournament titles and 23 NCAA Tournament appearances. He was named Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Coach of the year in 1994, 1995 and 2006. In 1994, his team won 57 games, a record for the second most single-season wins in ACC history (behind the record 60 wins set by the 1991 Clemson team). Bangor, Maine
Bangor ( ) is a city in the U.S. state of Maine and the county seat of Penobscot County. NCAA Division I Baseball Championship
The NCAA Division I Baseball Championship is held each year from May through June and features 64 college baseball teams in the United States, culminating in the eight-team Men's College World Series at Charles Schwab Field Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska. Tournament format The tournament is unique in that it features four tiers of competition, alternating between double-elimination brackets and best-of-three series. In fact, throughout the entire 64-team tournament, a team can lose a total of four games and still be crowned champions. During team selection, sixteen teams are given "national seeds". The top eight of these teams automatically host a super regional if they advance past the regional round, assuming that they have the facilities to do so. 1990 Southern Conference Baseball Tournament
The 1990 Southern Conference baseball tournament was held at College Park in Charleston, South Carolina, from April 26 through 29. Top seeded The Citadel won the tournament and earned the Southern Conference's automatic bid to the 1990 NCAA Division I baseball tournament en route to their appearance in the 1990 College World Series. It was the Bulldogs first tournament win. The tournament used a double-elimination format. All seven teams participated, with the top seed receiving a single bye.
