Edward Joseph "Ed" Doherty, (born May 22, 1949) is a New Brunswick ophthalmologist and politician, who has served in the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick representing the riding of Saint John Harbour. He was born in Moncton, New Brunswick, the son of Joseph Doherty and Marion McMackin, and was educated in Moncton, at St. Francis Xavier University and at Dalhousie University. Roly MacIntyre (born December 31, 1943) is a former civil servant and politician in the province of New Brunswick, Canada. He was elected to the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick in 1995 and re-elected in 2003 and 2006 after having been defeated in 1999. MacIntyre was born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. He was district manager for Niagara Finance and Niagara Mortgage & Loan from 1964 to 1971. MacIntyre married Phyllis Coady. Brenda Olive Fowlie (born May 15, 1953) is a journalist and politician in the Canadian province of New Brunswick. She was formerly a member of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick and a member of the cabinet. A resident of Quispamsis, New Brunswick, Fowlie was first elected to the legislature in the 1999 election and was re-elected in 2003 by a very narrow margin. She was originally declared the winner in 2003 by a margin of 16 votes and a recount delayed the swearing in of the cabinet and the first session of the legislature.
