Jack Henley
Jack Henley (December 6, 1896 – November 2, 1958) was an American screenwriter. He wrote for 80 films between 1932 and 1955. He was born in Ireland, and died in Los Angeles, California. Plot Former lab chimpanzee Bonzo, suddenly literate, runs away from a carnival sideshow. It follows an English comedian who attempts his luck on the Scottish stage, and develops a rivalry with a local performer. To comply with the 1927 Films Act the company was obliged to distribute a number of British-made films each year, and during the 1930s the company produced a large quantity of films at Teddington.
