Jack Curtis (voice Actor)
Jack Curtis, Jr. (June 16, 1926 – September 1970) was an American voice actor, director, producer, writer and editor. He began his career as an actor in radio shows in the 1940s. He directed, produced, shot and edited the sci-fi thriller film ''The Flesh Eaters (film), The Flesh Eaters'' (1964). He did numerous voice-overs. His voice was featured in several cartoons, and he dubbed the voices for animated characters that included ''Kimba the White Lion'', ''Marine Boy'', and ''Speed Racer'' for the Anime, Japanese anime series in 1967. Early life He was born in Queens, Queens, New York, the son of theatrical agent Jack Curtis and vaudeville dancer Mabel Ford. His half sister was actress Beatrice Curtis (1901-1963), whose first husband was the vaudevillian actor Harry Fox of the dance the foxtrot. Corinne Orr (born January 6, 1936) is a Canadian actress. She is best known for her work on the English version of the anime series ''Speed Racer''. is a 1965 Japanese ''kaiju'' film directed by Noriaki Yuasa, with special effects by Yonesaburo Tsukiji. Produced and distributed by Daiei Film, it is the first film in the ''Gamera'' franchise and the Shōwa era. The film stars Eiji Funakoshi, Harumi Kiritachi, and Junichiro Yamashita. In the film, authorities deal with the attacks of Gamera, a giant prehistoric turtle unleashed in the Arctic by an atomic bomb. The success of '' The Birds'' and Toho's ''Godzilla'' films influenced studio head Masaichi Nagata to produce a similar film. In 1964, Daiei attempted to produce ''Nezura'', with Yuasa directing. The Flesh Eaters
The Flesh Eaters are an American punk rock band, formed in Los Angeles, California, United States, in 1977. They are the most prominent of the bands which have showcased the compositions and singing of their founder, punk poet Chris Desjardins, best known as Chris D. While Desjardins is the group's only continual member, the Flesh Eaters' lineup has drawn from some of the most famous bands of the L.A. punk scene, such as the Plugz, X, the Blasters, and Los Lobos.
