Jack Currie (English Footballer)
Jack Currie (born 16 December 2001) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for club Oxford United. Early life Currie attended the St Lawrence Junior School in East Molesey, before going to Esher High School. He joined the Wimbledon academy when he was 11 years old. He signed his first professional contract with Wimbledon in September 2020. Career AFC Wimbledon Non-League loans In February 2021 Currie joined Maidstone United on a 6-month loan, however the 2020–21 season for Maidstone was curtailed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Having also spent time on loan at Leatherhead, the following season he joined Eastbourne Borough of the National League South on loan in July 2021. Kingston Upon Thames
Kingston upon Thames (hyphenated until 1965, colloquially known as Kingston) is a town in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, southwest London, England. 2020–21 AFC Wimbledon Season
The 2020–21 AFC Wimbledon season was the club's 19th season in their history and the fifth consecutive season in EFL League One. Along with League One, the club also participated in the FA Cup, EFL Cup and EFL Trophy. It was their first season based in their spiritual home of Wimbledon at the newly built Plough Lane stadium. They played at Loftus Road until the stadium was completed on 3 November. On Friday 6 November it was announced there had been a covid outbreak amongst the first team squad leading to the matches against Barrow in the FA Cup and the league fixture against Wigan being postponed. Over the weekend all members of the first team squad, staff and the U18s squad received covid testing and on Sunday the 8th it was announced the club would have to undergo a 2-week circuit breaker with all players and staff having to self isolate for 2 weeks. The 2021–22 National League season, known as the Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons, was the seventh season as English football's National League, the nineteenth season consisting of three divisions, and the forty-third season overall. FA Trophy
The Football Association Challenge Trophy, commonly known as the FA Trophy, is a men's football knockout cup competition run by and named after the English Football Association and competed for primarily by semi-professional teams. The competition was instigated in 1969 to cater to those non-league clubs that paid their players and were therefore not eligible to enter the FA Amateur Cup. Eligibility rules have changed over time, but from 2008 onwards the competition has been open to clubs playing in Steps 1–4 of the National League System, equivalent to tiers 5–8 of the overall English football league system. Isthmian League
The Isthmian League () is a regional men's football league covering Greater London, East and South East England, featuring mostly semi-professional clubs. The 2020–21 season was the 106th season of the Isthmian League, which is an English football competition featuring semi-professional and amateur clubs from London, East and South East England. The league operates four divisions, the Premier Division at Step 3, and three divisions, North, South Central and South East at Step 4 of the National League System. This was the third season since the former South Division was subdivided into the South Central and South East divisions. EFL League Two
The English Football League Two (often referred to as League Two for short or Sky Bet League Two for sponsorship purposes, and known as the Football League Two from 2004 until 2016) is the third and lowest division of the English Football League (EFL) and fourth-highest division overall in the English football league system.
