Jack Cleary (rower)
Jack Cleary (born 8 August 1995) is an Australian representative rower. He is an Australian national champion, has represented at world championships and is an Olympic medallist. He raced in the Australian men's quad scull at Tokyo 2021 to a bronze medal. Club and state rowing Cleary was schooled at Trinity College, Perth where he took up rowing. His senior club rowing started from the West Australian Rowing Club. Cleary's state representative debut for Western Australia came in 2013 when he was selected in the state youth eight to contest the Noel Wilkinson trophy at the Interstate Regatta. In 2014 he was selected in the West Australian men's senior eight to contest the Kings Cup. Cleary attended the University of California, Berkeley, double-majoring in Economics and Sociology. Subiaco, Western Australia
Subiaco (known colloquially as Subi) is an inner-Western suburbs (Perth), western suburb of Perth, the capital of Western Australia. It is approximately west of Perth's central business district, in the City of Subiaco local government area. World Rowing Cup
The World Rowing Cup is an international rowing competition organized by FISA (the International Rowing Federation). It began in 1997 and comprises three regattas (apart from in 2001 when there were four) held throughout early summer. In each event points are awarded to the top seven finishing boats and an overall winner determined after the last world cup regatta each year. During the regattas the current leader in each event must wear yellow bibs. The World Rowing Cup has only been staged outside Europe on 3 occasions, in 2001 Princeton and in both 2013 and 2014 Sydney. David Bartholot
David Bartholot (born 26 September 1995) is an Australian representative rower. He is an Australian national champion and represented in the double-scull at the 2019 and 2022 World Championships. Club and state rowing Bartholot was raised in Forster on the New South Wales Mid North Coast. He started rowing at Sydney University where he commenced studies in 2015. He was a resident at St Andrew's College and his senior club rowing has been from the Sydney University Boat Club. In 2018 in SUBC colours Bartholot contested the open men's single and double scull titles at the Australian Rowing Championships. In 2019 he contested the open men's single scull and won the open's men's quad scull national championship title in an SUBC/ANU composite crew. He won another open's men's quad scull national title in 2022 and that year was also selected as NSW's single sculling entrant, racing to victory in the President's Cup at the 2022 Interstate Regatta. Henry Youl
Henry Youl (born 12 October 1995) is an Australian representative rower. He has represented at underage and senior World Championships and won a bronze medal at the 2022 World Championships. Club and state rowing Youl was raised in Tasmania. His Australian senior club rowing has been from the Tamar Rowing Club in Launceston and then following his selection to national squads, from the Sydney University Boat Club. International representative rowing Youl made his Australian representative debut as stroke of the coxless four at the 2016 U23 World Rowing Championships in Rotterdam. He led that crew to a bronze medal win. The following year Youl again stroked the Australian U23 coxless four at the U23 World Championships in Plovdiv. They finished overall fifth. Youl was selected in the Australian team for the 2022 international season and the 2022 World Rowing Championships. Repechage (; french: repêchage, "fishing out, rescuing") is a practice in series competitions that allows participants who failed to meet qualifying standards by a small margin to continue to the next round. Harley Moore (born 24 February 1995) is an Australian representative sweep-oar rower. He was a 2017 U23 World Champion and has represented at senior World Championships. Club and state rowing Moore attended St Joseph's College, Nudgee where he took up rowing. His senior club rowing has been from the Commercial Rowing Club in Brisbane. Moore first made state selection for Queensland in the 2022 men's senior eight which contested the King's Cup at the Interstate Regatta within the Australian Rowing Championships. International representative rowing Moore debuted for Australia at the 2013 Junior World Championships in Trakai, racing a coxless pair which finished in thirteenth place.
