John Redmond Anthony (13 August 1885 – 6 November 1964) was an Irish hurler who played in numerous positions for the Kilkenny Kilkenny (). is a city in County Kilkenny, Ireland. It is located in the South-East Region and in the province of Leinster. It is built on both banks of the River Nore. The 2016 census gave the total population of Kilkenny as 26,512. Jack Anthony (jockey)
John Randolph Anthony (21 January 1890 – 10 July 1954) was a Welsh National Hunt jockey. He was the sixth son of a horse-racing family, owners of the Cilfeithy Stud Farm in Llandyfaelog, Carmarthenshire, from where his older brothers Ivor and Owen also became, respectively, a successful jockey and a National Hunt trainer. An amateur until 1921, Jack rode his first winner in 1906, and was best known for his three victories in the Grand National steeplechase: on "Glenside" in 1911, on "Ally Sloper" in 1915, and on "Troytown" in 1920. He was the sixth jockey to win three Grand Nationals, and he also finished third in the 1925 event. He was champion jockey on two occasions, in 1914 and 1928. In the latter year, he retired from riding to become a trainer. His biggest success in this role was with Easter Hero, which won the Cheltenham Gold Cup in 1929 and 1930. Jack Anthony Svicarevich (born May 20, 1982) is an American singer-songwriter, composer and musician. A Southern California native, Jack was born in Harbor City and raised in San Pedro. Early career With an early interest in music, Jack began playing guitar at the age of 10. By high school he was playing in numerous garage band and performing at various Southern California venues, while simultaneously working on his solo project. In 1999, after hearing a Jack Anthony demo given to him by a local radio station DJ, Drive Thru Records president Richard Reines contacted Jack and began offering him advice. He also put him in touch with Max Bemis, who had recently formed Say Anything. John "Jack" Anthony (born 19 January 1988) is a former professional Australian rules football player who played for the Collingwood Football Club from 2008 to 2010 and the Fremantle Football Club from 2011 to 2012. Early life Anthony originally played as a forward during his junior days with Diamond Creek in northern Melbourne. He also played for the Northern Knights in the TAC Cup where he was scouted by Collingwood and selected with the 37th selection of the 2005 AFL draft. AFL career 2007 Anthony suffered a serious neck injury during the 2007 pre-season but made a successful return to football in 2008. 2008 Anthony made his AFL debut in round three against Richmond Football Club. Oliver Westfield Claffey, better known by the ring name Jack Gallagher, is an English professional wrestler and mixed martial artist. He is best known for his time in WWE, where he performed on the NXT and 205 Live brands, mostly under the ring name Gentleman Jack Gallagher. Claffey was released from WWE in June 2020. On January 25, 2022, BKFC announced Jack has signed a deal to fight for the organisation, making his debut on May 6th at BKFC 25. He is currently 1-0-0 (1 KO) in the organisation. Claffey had worked in the British Independent circuit since 2006. In 2016, he competed on the WWE tournament Cruiserweight Classic.
