Jacinto Guerrero
Jacinto Guerrero (16 August 1895 Ajofrín, Province of Toledo, Toledo, Spain – 15 September 1951 Madrid, Spain), was a prolific composer of zarzuelas and revues, as well as some orchestral compositions. Guerrero was educated at the Colegio de Nuestra Señora de los Infantes, Toledo, choir school in Toledo and Madrid Royal Conservatory. ''Bound for Cairo'' (Spanish: ''Rumbo al Cairo'') is a 1935 Spanish musical film, musical comedy film directed by Benito Perojo and starring Miguel Ligero (Spanish actor), Miguel Ligero and María del Carmen Merino. The film was produced by the largest Spanish company Cifesa, and was patterned after successful Hollywood (film industry), Hollywood films of the same kind. It has been described as one of the most accomplished Spanish films of the period.
