Jacek Stopa
Jacek Stopa (born 3 January 1987 in Wrocław) is a Polish International master and Grandmaster chess player. Chess career He is a three-time gold medalist of the Polish junior championships: under 12 (1999, Wisła), under 18 (2005, Łeba) and under 20 (2006, Środa Wlkp.). In addition, in 2005 in Środa Wlkp. he won a bronze medal in the category under the age of 20. In 2004 he shared the first place (together with Zigurds Lanka) in the grandmaster tournament in Legnica. A year later, he won (before, among others, Monika Soćko, Bartłomiej Heberla and Aleksander Miśta) in the open tournament in Rybnik and achieved the greatest success in his career, winning the bronze medal at the U18 World Junior Championships in Belfort. Vadim Malakhatko ( uk, Вадим Малахатько; 22 March 1977 – 5 June 2023) was a Ukrainian (until 2007) and Belgian (from 2007) chess International Grandmaster, grandmaster. He was a member of the gold medal-winning Ukrainian team at the 2001 World Team Chess Championship. In 2000, he won with the Ukrainian team a bronze medal in the 34th Chess Olympiad in Istanbul. Evgeny Ellinovich Sveshnikov ( rus, Евгений Эллинович Све́шников; lv, Jevgēņijs Svešņikovs; 11 February 1950 – 18 August 2021) was a Russian chess player and writer. He was awarded the title of Grandmaster by FIDE in 1977. Chess career Sveshnikov played in his first USSR Chess Championship when he was 17 years old. He was awarded by FIDE the titles International Master in 1975 and Grandmaster in 1977. Zbigniew Pakleza (born 5 December 1986) is a Polish chess Grandmaster and a streamer. Chess career Zbigniew Pakleza is a multiple medalist of the Polish Junior Chess Championship: 2002 (U16) - silver, 2001 (U16) - bronze. Alberto David
Alberto David (born 26 March 1970) is a Luxembourgian-Italian chess grandmaster. He is a three-time Italian Chess Champion. Chess career David was born in Milan in 1970, and in 1974 moved with his parents to Luxembourg, where he learned to play chess a year later. He attained some success at the youth level but it was not until he finished his philosophy studies in London in 1992 that his chess career began. He earned his grandmaster title in 1998, becoming Luxembourg's first grandmaster. He competed for Luxembourg at the Chess Olympiads of 1994, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2002 and 2006, playing on the each time. International Master
FIDE titles are awarded by the international chess governing body FIDE (''Fédération Internationale des Échecs'') for outstanding performance. The highest such title is Grandmaster (GM).
