Jacek Rempała
Jacek Rempała (born 16 February 1971) is a former motorcycle speedway rider from Poland. Career Rempała represented Poland during the 1991 Speedway World Team Cup. He rode in Poland for 27 years and spent much of it with Unia Tarnów. He won the 1991 Silver Helmet and the 1993 Bronze Helmet. He first rode in Britain when he signed for the Ipswich Witches for the 1992 British League season. He did not return to Britain again until 2006, when he joined the Berwick Bandits The Berwick Bandits are a British speedway club, based in Berwick-upon-Tweed. Motorcycle speedway, usually referred to simply as speedway, is a motorcycle sport involving four and sometimes up to six riders competing over four anti-clockwise laps of an oval circuit. The motorcycles are specialist machines that use only one gear and have no brakes. Racing takes place on a flat oval track usually consisting of dirt, loosely packed shale, or crushed rock (mostly used in Australia and New Zealand). Competitors use this surface to slide their machines sideways, powersliding or broadsiding into the bends. On the straight sections of the track, the motorcycles reach speeds of up to .
