Jace Sternberger
Jace Evan Sternberger (born June 26, 1996) is an American football tight end for the Birmingham Stallions of the United States Football League (USFL). He played college football at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, Kansas, and Texas A&M, where he was named a consensus All-American in 2018 with the latter. Sternberger was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Early years At Kingfisher High School in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, Sternberger played various positions in football, both offensive and defensive. He initially played quarterback. After a shoulder injury during his sophomore season, his coaches moved him to tight end. In basketball, Sternberger played power forward. Ben Johnson (tight End)
Benjamin Johnson (born July 28, 1994) is a former American football tight end. He attended high school at Basehor–Linwood High School in Basehor, Kansas. He played college football at the University of Kansas. He was a two time All-Big 12 tight end at Kansas, being named honorable mention in 2015 and 2nd team in 2017. Professional career Los Angeles Chargers After going undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft, Johnson was signed by the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent. He was waived on September 1, 2018. Redshirt, in United States college athletics, is a delay or suspension of an athlete's participation in order to lengthen their period of eligibility. Typically, a student's athletic eligibility in a given sport is four seasons, aligning with the four years of academic classes typically required to earn a bachelor's degree at an American college or university. However, in a redshirt year, student athletes may attend classes at the college or university, practice with an athletic team, and "suit up" (wear a team uniform) for play – but they may compete in only a limited number of games (see " Use of status" section). David Beaty (American Football)
David Beaty (born October 26, 1970) is an American football coach who is the wide receivers coach at Florida Atlantic University. He served as the head football coach at the University of Kansas from 2015 to 2018. Career Early years Beaty was Kansas' wide receivers coach from 2008 to 2009 and co-offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach in 2011.
