Jace Bode
Jace Bode (born 14 September 1987) is an Australian rules footballer who played for Australian Football League (AFL) club Melbourne in 2007 and 2008 and now plays for the Port Adelaide Football Club in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). Bode grew up in Adelaide and attended Pulteney Grammar School, before changing to Pembroke for his final three years of high school, where he finished in 2005. He excelled at many sports at junior level as well as football, particularly cricket, athletics and basketball. As a fast bowler, he played at various representative levels until his focus turned to football. His background in athletics (particularly the 100 m, 200 m and 400 m sprints) saw him perform very well at the AFL Draft Camp. He is a natural left-footer and played senior football for Sturt in 2005 before being selected in the Under-18 All-Australian side, on the wing. Rookie List
The rookie list is a means for Australian Football League (AFL) clubs to maintain additional players outside the 38-man primary or senior list. Rookie listed players are not eligible to play in AFL home-and-away or finals matches unless they are elevated to the senior list, either to replace a retired player or a player with a long-term injury. Recruitment There are two categories of rookie: Category A and Category B. Category A primarily represents players with a traditional Australian rules football development; Category B rookies are players from non-traditional recruiting backgrounds. Category A rookies are usually placed on the list via the rookie draft, which occurs annually during the off-season, immediately after the pre-season draft. Australia National Netball Team
The Australia national netball team, also known as the Australian Diamonds, represent Netball Australia in international netball tournaments such as the INF Netball World Cup, the Commonwealth Games, the Constellation Cup, the Netball Quad Series and the Fast5 Netball World Series. Natalie Von Bertouch
Natalie von Bertouch ( ; born 16 December 1982), also known as Natalie Bode, is a former Australia netball international. Between 2004 and 2012 she made 76 senior appearances for Australia. Bertouch was a member of the Australia teams that won the gold medals at the 2007 and 2011 World Netball Championships. She captained Australia at the latter tournament. She was also a member of the Australia teams that won the silver medals at the 2006 and 2010 Commonwealth Games. At club level, Bertouch captained Adelaide Thunderbirds to two ANZ Championship titles in 2010 and 2013. Her older sister, Laura von Bertouch is also a former netball player. Garry McIntosh
Garry McIntosh (born 16 March 1964) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Norwood Football Club in the South Australian Football League (SANFL). A dual Magarey Medallist, McIntosh is considered one of the greatest footballers to not play in the VFL/AFL competition. Playing career McIntosh primarily played as a centreman or rover and remained loyal to Norwood throughout his career, playing a record 336 games for the club before his retirement in 1998. He was a premiership player with them twice, the first came in his debut season in 1982 and the second in 1984. A third premiership was within his grasp in 1997, but McIntosh missed the Grand Final through suspension. From 1990 to 1998 he was club captain and in 2002 he returned to Norwood to serve as their senior coach for three seasons. The Adelaide Footy League, formerly known as the South Australian Amateur Football League (SAAFL), is a semi-professional Australian rules football competition based in Adelaide, South Australia. Comprising sixty-seven member clubs playing over one hundred and ten matches per week, the SAAFL is one of Australia's largest Australian rules football associations. Norwood Football Club
Norwood Football Club, nicknamed the Redlegs, is an Australian rules football club competing in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) in the state of South Australia. Its home ground is Coopers Stadium (Norwood Oval), which is often referred to as "The Parade".
