The ''Journal of Biomedical Materials Research'' is a peer-reviewed scientific journals of biomedical material science. It was established in 1967. Biomedical engineering (BME) or medical engineering is the application of engineering principles and design concepts to medicine and biology for healthcare purposes (e.g., diagnostic or therapeutic).
