JS16
Jaakko Salovaara (born 13 January 1975), better known by his stage name JS16, is a Finnish musician, DJ and record producer. He is best known for his work with Finnish hip hop group Bomfunk MC's, producing their most successful song "Freestyler", and for his work with Finnish DJ and producer Darude, as well as other solo productions and remixes. He released his debut studio album, ''Stomping System'' in 1998. He is part of the DJ duo Dallas Superstars with Heikki L, and owns the dance music record label 16 Inch Records. Career His first release was the 1991 single "Hypnosynthesis", at the age of 16 (hence the number 16 in his artist name). With the release of the club/dance music album ''Stomping System'' in 1998 and hits like "Stomp to My Beat" and "Love Supreme", he gained the Finnish audience's attention. The Bomfunk MC's is a Finnish hip hop group that was active between 1998 and 2005, before reuniting in 2018. The group's frontman is the rapper B.O. Dubb (born Raymond Ebanks, and formerly known as "B.O.W."), and the main producer is Jaakko Salovaara, known as "JS16". "Feel the Beat" is a song by Finnish DJ and record producer Darude. It was released as the second single from his debut studio album '' Before the Storm''. It shares many similar musical elements to the first single, "Sandstorm", and achieved success throughout Europe, Oceania, and America. Toni-Ville Henrik Virtanen (; born July 17, 1975), better known by his stage name Darude (), is a Finnish DJ and record producer from Eura, Satakunta. His music is characterised by its progressive/uplifting style. He started making music in 1995 and released the platinum-selling hit single "Sandstorm" in late 1999. Jes Brieden (born May 10, 1974), known simply as Jes (stylized as JES), is an American singer, songwriter, producer, composer, and DJ from New York. She is a co-founder of the US dance band Motorcycle, who released the world-famous song "As the Rush Comes" in 2003.
