JP Ferreira
JP Ferreira (born in 1983) is a South African rugby union coach, currently the defence coach for Bath. Playing career Ferreira played rugby for the University of Pretoria alongside future Munster coaching colleague Johann van Graan, mostly as a fullback or wing. He had also accepted a trial with Welsh side Bridgend after leaving school, spending seven months with the club before returning to South Africa. Ferreira was then invited to join the Blue Bulls, featuring for their under-19s and under-20s, as well as training with the Springboks 7s team. He moved to the Leopards after being overlooked for promotion to the , before joining the Falcons, playing his final game for them in 2007. Bridgend Ravens
Bridgend Ravens ( cy, Cigfrain Pen-y-bont) (formerly Bridgend RFC) are a semi-professional rugby union club based in Bridgend, South Wales. They currently play in the Welsh Premier Division and are a feeder club to the Ospreys regional team. Origin Bridgend RFC first formed a team in 1878, playing and losing to Newport RFC in the final of the South Wales Challenge Cup. However, the club was only established de facto after the first general meeting of the club was held at the York Hotel, Bridgend on 11 April 1880. Morné Ferreira (born 2 February 1994) is a rugby union referee, currently on the South African Rugby Union's National Panel. Career Ferreira is a member of the Rugby Union Referee's society. In 2019, he refereed at the Craven Week, the premier rugby tournament for schools in South Africa, and also took charge of the u18 International match between France and Wales. He was also selected to referee at the 2019 Africa Men's Sevens Olympic Qualifying tournament. In 2020, he made his Varsity Cup debut and took charge of three matches in the u21 Provincial Championship. He officiated in a number of matches in the 2021 Varsity Cup, culminating in him taking charge of the Varsity Cup final between the University of Cape Town and the University of Pretoria. The South African Open – formerly known as the South African Championships, and for sponsorship reasons the Altech NCR South African Open and the Panasonic South African Open – is a defunct Grand Prix Tennis Tour, World Championship Series, ATP Tour and Virginia Slims Circuit affiliated tennis tournament played from 1891 to 2011 in South Africa. It was part of the pre-open era international seasonal tours from 1891 to 1967 from 1968 to 1971, part of the open era independent events tour from 1972, when it became part the men's Grand Prix Tour until 1989. Brigitte Cuypers (born 3 December 1955) is a retired tennis player from South Africa. Cuypers reached the final of the South African Open (tennis), South African Championships singles event on five consecutive occasions from 1975 to 1979 and won the title in 1976, 1978 and 1979. In 1977, she won the doubles title at the Italian Open (tennis), Italian Open with compatriot Marise Kruger. In August 1979, she was runner–up at the Canadian Open (tennis), Canadian Open, losing the final in three sets to Laura duPont. Cuypers won the singles title at the Rhodesian Open in 1974 and 1975. The 2018–19 Pro14 (also known as the '' Guinness Pro14'' for sponsorship reasons) is the eighteenth season of the professional rugby union competition originally known as the Celtic League.
