JJ Peters
Deez Nuts are an Australian hardcore punk band that formed in Melbourne in 2007. The lineup currently consists of vocalist JJ Peters, guitarist Matt Rogers a.k.a. Real Bad, and drummer Alex Salinger. The band has released one EP and six studio albums. History Formation and ''Rep Your Hood'' (2007–2008) Deez Nuts started after the disbanding of Australian metalcore band I Killed the Prom Queen, of which JJ Peters was the drummer. After being heavily influenced by the hip hop and hardcore punk styles of music, Peters decided to start Deez Nuts. After he wrote a few songs he entered the studio to record the 2007 ''Deez Nuts'' demo performing all instruments and vocals. Set Your Goals is an American punk rock band from San Francisco, California, formed in 2004. Their band name is derived from the CIV album of the same name. The band consists of vocalists Jordan Brown and Matt Wilson, drummer Mike Ambrose, guitarists Audelio Flores Jr and Daniel Coddaire and bassist Joe Saucedo. History Formation and first releases (2004–08) Forming in 2004, Set Your Goals released their first self-titled EP through Straight on Records in May 2004. Oli Sykes
Oliver Scott Sykes (born 20 November 1986) is a British singer and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Bring Me the Horizon. He also founded the apparel company Drop Dead Clothing, and created a graphic novel. Early life Sykes was born on 20 November 1986, in Ashford, Kent, England. As an infant, he moved to Australia with his parents, Ian and Carol Sykes, moving between Adelaide and Perth during a period of about six years. The raised fist, or the clenched fist, is a long-standing image of mixed meaning, often a symbol of political solidarity. It is also a common symbol of communism, socialism, and other revolutionary social movements. It can also represent a salute to express unity, strength, or resistance. Miles Away (band)
Miles Away is an Australian hardcore punk band from Perth, Western Australia, formed in 2002. History Miles Away was formed in mid-2002 by Cam Jose and Adam Crowe who had a bunch of songs they wanted to use for an old school hardcore band. They then drafted in Chris Unsworth, the drummer from Adam's first band Alleged and Perth stalwart/enigma Dion, formerly of Boredumb and From The Ruins to play the bass. Nick Horsnell joined up on vocals in late 2002 to complete the puzzle. At this time the band was going under the name Burning Bridges, until they found a US band with the same name. Ligeia was an American metalcore band from Massachusetts, formed in 2003. History Originally formed in the winter of 2003 by Keith Holuk and Ryan Ober, Ligeia solidified their lineup with the additions of Brandon Whipple and Patrick Murphy in 2007. Their debut album, ''Your Ghost Is a Gift'', was recorded in December 2004 by Ken Susi of Unearth and released in late March 2006 on Ferret Music. Ligeia released their second album, '' Bad News'', in August 2008 on Ferret Records. Your Demise
Your Demise were a British hardcore punk band from St Albans, England, formed in 2003. They shared stages and toured worldwide with the likes of Comeback Kid, Basement, Trapped Under Ice, Man Overboard, Enter Shikari, Parkway Drive, A Day to Remember and Bring Me the Horizon. On 22 September 2008, the band confirmed that they had signed a deal with Visible Noise. The band played their final gig at The London Underworld on 15 March 2014, after announcing in 2013 that they would be parting ways in March. They reunited for a one off benefit show for The Ghost Inside in 2015. They reunited again for the anniversary of The Kids We Used to Be but the shows were postponed due to the COVID-19 situation. Ignominious Incarceration
The Soulless, formerly known as Ignominious Incarceration, are a metalcore band based in Bath in the south west of England. History Formation (2006–2009) The band formed in the summer of 2006, playing their first gig to an audience of around 20 people. By their third show, they had replaced Abigail Williams on a tour slot as the main support act for Bring Me the Horizon and were playing to over 400 people. They were named as one of the best new English death metal bands, they have toured with the likes of Trigger the Bloodshed and Bleed From Within, and recorded a 6-track EP.
