Jyler Noviello
Jyler Noviello (born December 22, 1984, in Wilmington, North Carolina) is an American soccer player who most recently played for Wilmington Hammerheads in the USL Professional Division. Noviello is currently coaching with the Penn Fusion Soccer Academy. Career College Noviello grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, attended North Cobb High School where he school records for goals in a season (34), career goals (52), goals in a game (6) and assists in a game (4), and played one season of college soccer at South Georgia College before transferring to West Virginia University as a sophomore. At West Virginia he was a member of 2003 all-region team and the 2004 NSCAA all-south team. In 2006 Noviello also played a season in the USL Premier Development League with the Atlanta Silverbacks U23's, and was his team's top scorer. USL Premier Development League
USL League Two (USL2), formerly the Premier Development League (PDL), is a semi-professional developmental soccer league sponsored by United Soccer Leagues in the United States and Canada, forming part of the United States soccer league system. The league features 113 teams for 2022, split into sixteen regional divisions across four conferences. USL League Two is headquartered in Tampa, Florida. Ventura County Fusion are the current champions, having defeated Long Island Rough Riders 2–1 in the 2022 USL League Two Championship game on August 6, 2022. The 2009 season is the 23rd season played by the United Soccer Leagues. Season titles will be contested by 20 professional men's clubs in the USL First Division and USL Second Division, as well as 37 professional and amateur women's clubs in the W-League and 68 professional and amateur men's teams in the USL Premier Development League. The First Division season kicked off on April 11 with the US Open Cup finalist Charleston Battery and host defending champions Vancouver Whitecaps FC playing to a scoreless tie, while the Carolina RailHawks defeated the visiting Minnesota Thunder 2–1. The season ended on September 20 with the Charleston Battery defeating hosts Minnesota Thunder 3–2. As a change for this season, the Finals will follow the rest of the playoffs in being two legs.
