Jut Art Museum
The Jut Art Museum (JAM; ) is an art museum in Da'an District, Taipei, Taiwan. It is managed and operated by the Jut Foundation for Arts and Architecture (JFAA). Mission Jut Land Development's 30th anniversary, and the Jut Foundation for Arts and Architecture (JFAA)'s 10th birthday, culminates in the establishment of the Jut Art Museum (JAM) in 2016. It is a milestone commemorating the history of Taiwan's architectural aesthetics. JAM anticipates to act as a new form of platform, catalyst and think tank devoted to corporate social responsibility fulfillment and addressing the societal dynamics of the 21st century. JAM also anticipates to carry on the legacy of "A Better Tomorrow" that defines much of JFAA's work, to become the first museum in Taiwan that is focused on the issues of "future" and "city." Daan District (or Da-an District, Da'an, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, United States National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency District) is an important educational, commercial, residential and cultural District (Taiwan), district of Taipei, Taipei City, Republic of China (Taiwan). Taipei (), officially Taipei City, is the capital and a special municipality of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Tadao Ando
is a Japanese autodidact architect whose approach to architecture and landscape was categorized by architectural historian Francesco Dal Co as "critical regionalism". He is the winner of the 1995 Pritzker Prize. Early life Ando was born a few minutes before his twin brother in 1941 in Osaka, Japan. At the age of two, his family chose to separate them, and have Tadao live with his great grandmother. He worked as a boxer and fighter before settling on the profession of architect, despite never having formal training in the field. Struck by the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Imperial Hotel on a trip to Tokyo as a second-year high school student, he eventually decided to end his boxing career less than two years after graduating from high school to pursue architecture. Zhongxiao Xinsheng Metro Station
Zhongxiao Xinsheng (, formerly transliterated as Chunghsiao Hsinsheng Station until 2003) is a metro station in Taipei, Taiwan served by the Taipei Metro. Station overview The station is a three-level, underground station with two island platforms and seven exits. It is located at the intersection of Zhongxiao East Road and Xinsheng South Road, hence the name of the station. Zhongxiao Fuxing (, formerly transliterated as Chunghsiao Fuhsing Station until 2003) is a metro station in Taipei, Taiwan served by Taipei Metro. It had a ridership of 20.688 million entries and exits in 2017. Station overview The station has both underground and elevated sections: two levels are underground (servicing Blue Line) and four levels above ground (servicing Brown Line). The station has two side platforms, one island platform, and five exits.
