Just Me (Keith Sweat Album)
''Just Me'' is the tenth studio album by American singer Keith Sweat. It was released by Atco Records on May 13, 2008 in the United States. The album marked Sweat's debut with the label following his departure from Elektra Records. ''Just Me'' became his first regular album to top the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums in a decade. Background Along with a duet with Keyshia Cole, the album reunites with producer Teddy Riley, as well as former Kut Klose member Athena Cage, with whom he previously work with on "Nobody." The album also feature Chris Conner and Paisley Bettis. This is also the first album with Riley since Sweat's studio album ''Keep It Comin''' (1991). Keith Sweat (born July 22, 1961) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and an early figure in the new jack swing musical movement. He is known for his collection of hits including "I Want Her", " Make It Last Forever", "I'll Give All My Love to You", "Make You Sweat", "Get Up on It", " Twisted" and "Nobody". He has released 13 solo albums (2 as a part of the R&B supergroup LSG) and discovered the groups Silk and Kut Klose. Early life Keith Sweat was born in Harlem, New York City, to Juanita Thompson, a hairdresser, and Charles Sweat, a factory worker. Juanita raised their five children alone after Charles Sweat's death in 1973. He worked as a night stock boy at Macy's Department Store, and then a mail room clerk at Paine Webber, a brokerage firm. ''Keep It Comin'' is the third studio album by the American R&B recording artist Keith Sweat. It was released on November 26, 1991, and topped the R&B Albums chart upon its debut, while entering the top 20 of the ''Billboard'' 200. It spent three weeks on the former, temporarily knocking Michael Jackson's '' Dangerous'' from the top position. The album's title track, " Keep It Comin'", was Sweat's fourth single to top the R&B chart. Two more singles "I Want To Love You Down" and "Why Me Baby" were Top 20 R&B hits. The Oricon Albums Chart is the Japanese music industry standard albums popularity chart issued daily, weekly, monthly and yearly by Oricon. Oricon originally published LP, CT, Cartridge and CD charts prior to the establishment of the Oricon Albums Chart on October 5, 1987. The Oricon Albums Chart's rankings are based on physical albums' sales. Oricon did not include download sales until its establishment of the Digital Albums Chart on November 19, 2016. In November 2018, Oricon began to include streaming in its album rankings, introducing a combined album chart based on album-equivalent units.
