Julie Laernoes (born July 3, 1982, in Delft, Netherlands) is a French-Dutch politician from Europe Ecology – The Greens, Europe Ecology The Greens. She was elected as a Deputy (France), deputy for Loire-Atlantique's 4th constituency in the 2022 French legislative election. She took part in Dominique Voynet's presidential campaign for the 2007 French presidential election, French presidential election of 2007 and became her chief of staff when she became mayor of Montreuil, Seine-Saint-Denis, Montreuil in 2008 French municipal elections, 2008. After moving to Nantes, she became Jean-Philippe Magnen's campaign manager during the 2010 French regional elections. 2010 French Regional Elections
Regional elections were held in France on 14 and 21 March 2010. At stake were the presidencies of each of France's 26 ''régions'', which, though they do not have legislative autonomy, manage sizable budgets. The elections resulted in significant gains for the French Socialist Party (PS) and its allies, who went on to control 21 of the 22 regions of Metropolitan France. Situation Following the 2004 elections, which saw an historic victory of the left, largely led by the PS, only Alsace and Corsica were still run by the UMP. The left made gains in the national level in 2007 (presidential and legislative), and performed strongly in the 2008 municipal and cantonal elections. Renaissance (RE), previously known as La République En Marche ! The New Ecological and Social People's Union (french: Nouvelle Union populaire écologique et sociale, link=no, NUPES) is a left-wing alliance of political parties in France. 2020 French Municipal Elections
The 2020 French municipal elections were held from 15 March to 28 June to renew the municipal councils of the approximately 35,000 French communes. The first round took place on 15 March and the second round was postponed to 28 June due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Electoral system Municipal elections in France result in the renewal of the members of municipal councils in every commune, and are held every 6 years. With the exception of Paris, Lyon, and Marseille, the electoral subdivision is the commune itself.
