Julian McCullough
Julian McCullough (born May 29, 1979) is an American actor, writer, producer, and comedian best known for his appearances on ''Love You, Mean It with Whitney Cummings'', ''Chelsea Lately'', and ''Guy Code''. Early life McCullough was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1979. He initially attended college in California before attending Rutgers University, where he majored in English. After graduating from college in 2001, McCullough moved to Brooklyn, New York where he began to pursue a career in comedy. Career Comedy In 2007, McCullough participated in the Just for Laughs comedy festival in Zodiac Killer Montreal, Quebec, Canada and appeared on an episode of the Comedy Central television series ''Live at Gotham'' hosted by Robert Schimmel. McCullough has performed at the Comedy Cellar, Carolines on Broadway, and Stand Up New York. Carolines on Broadway is a venue for stand-up comedy situated at 750 Seventh Avenue, on Broadway between 49th and 50th Streets, in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City. History Caroline Hirsch opened Carolines as a cabaret in the Chelsea neighborhood in 1981 with two friends. Hirsch advocated to make it a comedy club and booked Jay Leno as its first performer. In 1983, Paul Reubens performed at the club, helping the club grow in popularity. In 1987, Carolines moved to South Street Seaport where it became established as the country's top comedy venue. It also served as home to the A&E series, “Caroline's Comedy Hour,” which ran for six years and won a CableACE award for "Best Stand-Up Comedy Series." Whitney Cummings
Whitney Cummings (born September 4, 1982) is an American stand-up comedian, actress, writer, director, producer, investor and podcaster. A native of Washington, DC, Cummings pursued a comedy career in Los Angeles after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, where she had studied with the intention of becoming a journalist. After beginning standup in 2004, she secured regular appearances as a roundtable guest on ''Chelsea Lately''. She subsequently created, produced, and starred in NBC's ''Whitney'', a sitcom in which she portrayed a semifictionalized version of herself. A sidekick is a slang expression for a close companion or colleague (not necessarily in fiction) who is, or is generally regarded as, subordinate to the one they accompany. Round table is a form of academic discussion. Participants agree on a specific topic to discuss and debate. Each person is given equal right to participate, as illustrated by the idea of a circular layout referred to in the term round table.
