Julau is a federal constituency in Sarikei Division ( Sarikei District, Pakan District and Julau District), Sarawak, Malaysia, that has been represented in the Dewan Rakyat since 1971. Larry Sng
Datuk Larry Sng Wei Shien (), is a Taiwanese-born Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Julau since May 2018. He served as Member of the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Pelagus from September 2001 to April 2011. He is a member of the Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM). In PBM, he has served as the 1st President since January 2022and 1st Deputy President from November 2021 to his promotion to party presidency in January 2022. He was a member, State Chairman of the People's Justice Party (PKR) of Sarawak, a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. On 28 February 2021, he left PKR to become an independent again and declared support for the ruling Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition. Sarawak National Party
The Sarawak National Party known by its acronym as "SNAP", is now a defunct political party in Malaysia. It was a member party of the Alliance Party from 1963 to 1966 and a member of Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition from 1976 until its expulsion in 2004. It contested the General Election in 2004 as well as the Sarawak state elections of 2006 and 2011 as an opposition party. The 12th Malaysian Parliament is the last meeting of the legislative branch of the government of Malaysia, the Parliament, comprising the directly elected lower house, the ''Dewan Rakyat'', and the appointed upper house, the ''Dewan Negara''. The ''Parti Rakyat Sarawak'' or PRS (English: Sarawak Peoples' Party) is a multiracialism & nationalism political party in Sarawak, and Malaysia at all. The party was founded in the wake of the de-registration of the Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak and later Sarawak National Party in December 2003 by a breakaway faction led by Tan Sri Dr. James Jemut Masing and Dato' Sng Chee Hua.
