Juce
JUCE is an open-source software, open-source cross-platform C++ application framework, used for the development of desktop and mobile applications. JUCE is used in particular for its graphical user interface, GUI and Plug-in (computing), plug-ins libraries. It is dual licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License, AGPLv3 and a commercial license. The aim of JUCE is to allow software to be written such that the same source code will compiler, compile and run identically on Microsoft Windows, Windows, macOS and Linux platforms. ROLI is a London-based music technology company known for its innovative high tech musical instruments, particularly the ROLI Seaboard, a MIDI controller with soft, rubbery keys and continuous, rather than discrete, pitches, and pitch-bending capabilities. Waveform, previously known as Tracktion, is a digital audio workstation for recording and editing sound, audio and MIDI. The software is cross-platform, and runs on Apple macOS, Microsoft Windows, and Linux. History Tracktion was developed by independent UK designer/programmer Julian Storer and was released in 2002 by UK-based Raw Material Software. Application Framework
In computer programming, an application framework consists of a software framework used by software developers to implement the standard structure of application software. In object-oriented programming, a class defines the shared aspects of objects created from the class.
