Juan Carlos García (Honduran Footballer)
Juan Carlos García Barahona (8 March 1988 – 8 January 2018) was a Honduran professional footballer who played as a left-back. He began his career at Marathón and later went on to Olimpia. He signed for Wigan Athletic in 2013, where he made one appearance in the Football League Cup. He also had a loan spell at Tenerife in which he did not play a match. A full international from 2009 to 2014. García earned 39 caps for Honduras. He was included in their squads for three CONCACAF Gold Cups and the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Club career Marathón García came through the youth ranks of and started his senior career with C.D. Marathón. Tela
Tela is a town, with a population of 38,030 (2020 calculation), and a municipality in Honduras on the northern Caribbean coast. It is located in the department of Atlantida. History Colonial era Tela was founded by the Spanish conquistador Cristóbal de Olid on near an indigenous town named Tehuacán, ruled by a cacique named Cucumba which had a very good source of clean water, food and medicinal plants. Olid named his town Triunfo de la Cruz (Triumph of the Cross) as it was founded on this Catholic holy day. The name Triunfo de la Cruz continues to be used to day to refer to a small promontory in the bay. There are historians who say that the origin of the name is a contraction of ''Tetela'', which in the Nahuat language means "land of hills and craggy mountains." Club de Fútbol Motagua (), formerly Club Deportivo Motagua up to 2017, is an association football club, located in Tegucigalpa, capital of Honduras. F.C. The 2011 Copa Centroamericana ( en, 2011 Central American Cup) was the eleventh edition of Copa Centroamericana (formerly known as the UNCAF Nations Cup), an international football championship for national teams affiliated with the Central American Football Union (UNCAF) of the CONCACAF region. It took place in Panama from January 14 to January 23, 2011. It was the second time for Panama to host the tournament. FIFA World Cup Qualification
The FIFA World Cup qualification is a competitive match that a national association football team takes in order to qualify for one of the available berths at the final tournament of the (men's) FIFA World Cup. Carlos Yovani Palacios Montero (born 30 January 1982) is a Honduran footballer who plays for Motagua New Orleans as a left back. The Grenada national football team represents Grenada in international football and is controlled by the Grenada Football Association, a member of the Caribbean Football Union of CONCACAF.
