Fr. Thomas "Tom" J. Morrissey, born in 1929 in Limerick (Ireland), is an Irish Jesuit priest. historian, teacher and writer. He was the fifth Director of Education at the College of Industrial Relations (National College of Ireland) from 1983 to 1989. Fr. Thomas was born in Limerick and was educated at Crescent College. He entered the Jesuit Order in 1948. He studied history at University College Dublin and graduated with a master's degree. In 1976 he was awarded a doctorate in education at University College Cork. He taught at Sacred Heart College, Limerick and at Mungret College from 1963 to 1968. Paul Mooney (college President)
Dr. Paul Mooney was appointed President of National College of Ireland, based in North Wall, Dublin, in February 2007. He holds a Ph.D. (Doctorate in Industrial Sociology), a Graduate Diploma (Industrial Relations), and a National Diploma in Industrial Relations and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Seán FitzPatrick
Seán FitzPatrick (25 May 1948 – 8 November 2021) was an Irish banker who was chief executive and then chairman of Anglo Irish Bank, until he resigned in December 2008 amid mounting revelations over hidden loans. The scandal precipitated a collapse of the bank's share price which in turn led to its nationalisation on 21 January 2009. He was declared bankrupt in 2010. He was later prosecuted but acquitted of any criminal offence in relation to his role in the banking crisis. FitzPatrick qualified as a chartered accountant, and was appointed as Chief Executive of Anglo Irish Bank in 1986. He led the Bank through a series of mergers and strong subsequent growth into a position amongest the largest banks in the country, though it became over-concentrated in the property development sector.
