Jothi (2022 Film)
''Jothi'' is a 2022 Tamil-language movie directed by AV Krishna Paramatma, starring Vetri, Sheela, Krisha Kurup, S P Rajasethupathi and Mime Gopi. The film was released on 28 July 2022. Plot The movie begins with Aruljothi, a pregnant woman, who is due to give birth in four days. Her husband, Ashwin, a doctor, leaves for an emergency case, and Jothi is alone at home. When the scene cuts, Jothi's tummy is being stitched by an unknown person, and the baby has been stolen. The police, including Sakthi, Jothi's friend Janaki's husband, investigate the case. It is revealed that Jothi is adopted and has a sister, Nisha, who is envious of Jothi's wealth. When the police watch CCTV footage, they see Ranga, a former driver of Ashwin and Jothi, enter the house before the camera stops working. Vetri (actor)
Vetri Sudley, known professionally as Vetri, is an Indian actor who appears in Tamil films. He is best known for playing the lead role in his own family production films such as ''8 Thottakkal'' (2017) and ''Jiivi'' (2019). Career Vetri is the son of Producer M. Vellapandian. He debuted in the role of sub inspector in the 2017 critically acclaimed film ''8 Thottakkal'' which was produced by his father. Sheela Rajkumar
Sheela Rajkumar (born 14 June 1992) is an Indian actress and Bharatanatyam dancer who has worked predominantly in Tamil films. Career Sheela is a Bharatanatyam dancer and a trainer. She joined the Chennai-based theatre group Koothu-P-Pattarai where she was performing theatrical arts. Sheela also worked in short films for Kalaignar TV's reality show ''Naalaya Iyakunar''. Mime Gopi is an Indian stage and film actor who has appeared in predominantly Tamil films including ''Madras'' (2014), ''Kathakali'' (2016), and ''Kabali'' (2016).
