The Congress of the Republic of Peru ( es, Congreso de la República) is the unicameral body that assumes legislative power in Peru. Congress' composition is established by Chapter I of Title IV of the Constitution of Peru. Congress is composed of representatives who sit in congressional districts allocated to each region, as well as two special districts, Lima Province and Peruvian citizens living abroad, on a basis of population as measured by the Peruvian Census in multi-member districts. Ancash Region
Ancash ( qu, Anqash; es, Áncash ) is a department and region in northern Peru. It is bordered by the departments of La Libertad on the north, Huánuco and Pasco on the east, Lima on the south, and the Pacific Ocean on the west. National Unity ( es, Unidad Nacional, UN) was a Peruvian center-right, mainly a Christian democratic electoral alliance. The Christian People's Party ( es, link=yes, Partido Popular Cristiano, PPC) is a center-right and conservative political party based on the principles of Christian democracy.
